Monk...sorry SACHIN WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI
Sachin Tendulkar sold his controversial two seater red 360 Modena Ferrari to a businessman in Surat, Jayesh Desai, and Chairman of Raj Hans group. Sachin Tendulkar, who is passionate about cars, got it 9 years before when he equaled Sir Don Bradman’s record of 29 Test centuries. On behalf of Fiat, it was presented to him by Michael Schumacher a German Formula one (F1) race driver in 2002.
Desai is believed to have paid Rs 1.20 crore for the car, which landed in Surat a week back. The new owner has driven it three-four times on the city's roads. To accommodate his new, proud possession, Desai had to renovate his garage.
